weird dream

Had a weird dream last night.

Kinda started out at some kind of camp ground or day camp with a couple of my girl friends, and I distinctly remember walking up stairs, and then down the same stairs. I don't remember what happened between that time. After we'd made it down the steps and were in the gravel parking lot looking for a car, ...this is where it gets weird...som creature, frog-like, if I remember, offered us a ride in his vehicle, which was a shiney, opulescent sea shell looking thing. That happened to float.

Now the dream is a little weird, as we're deep in some kind of cave with water all around it. And Vin Diesel is there. It's just like "Pitch Black" because there are all these flying creatures in the dark that are trying to eat him. I don't think we were in this part of the dream anymore. So he's in some kind of harness, getting pulled upwards towards a cliff ledge. He gets wedged somewhere, around his shoulders, I think, but the harness keeps pulling. It's really painful for him, and he starts sweating blood. It starts out really red, then turns almost black. It was pouring out.

Then, I don't know how we got past all of that, but he did, and now it was time to fight the creatures. I don't know if ol' Vinnie had fire breathing power, or just swallowed a bunch of rubbing alcohol and had a lighter on him, but he was breathing fire at the creatures, trying to scare them away. And it worked for most of them, except the super big one. (Of course.) So just as Vin is getting ready to blow a last burst of fire at the creature, it swoops down into the water and grabs a mouthful of water to put out the fire. It works, but Vin just clings to the rock and has a stare-down with the creature, and they must have declared a tie, because the creature flew away.

Then Vin hopped back on the opulescent thingie, which was now a fish, and imitated a fin so he would blend in with the fish thing, and it floated off. There was also a big barracuda fish in the water with electronic red eyes that watched the whole thing, and may have helped Vin...but the creature ate it just as Vin floated off.

WTF?!?! Now...I have no idea where this dream came from, as I haven't watched "Pitch Black" in months, and haven't even seen the previews to the new movie in days. I wasn't even thinking about it as I went to bed. It was super weird.

And now...off to get ready for my 10 hour work day. YAY. (Which is really going to turn into 11 hours because I have to get there early, and we never leave AT 6pm when we close because people pile their cars in until the very last minute, so we have to spend all that time AFTER 6 cleaning up after our customers and their cars and counting down the cash and checks and credit cards...BAH.)
